Who is James Bond?
In 1952, author and British journalist Ian Fleming created the fictional character, James Bond. Bond is a Secret Service agent who is based on a number of commandos that Ian Fleming met while serving in the Naval Intelligence Division during WWII. Fleming coined the name James Bond from American ornithologist James Bond. Code number 007 comes from one of the British naval intelligence’s most significant successes during World War I: cracking the German diplomatic code.

Sean Connery – He played Bond as a sophisticated, classically handsome, threatening, and ideal specimen. Dr. No, From Russia with Love, Goldfinger, Thunderball, and Never Say Never Again were the films he starred in.
Roger Moore – Moore was more cocky, sarcastic, and family-friendly. Moore appeared in a number of films, including Live and Let Die, The Man with the Golden Gun, The Spy Who Loved Me, Moonraker, For Your Eyes Only, Octopussy, and A View to a Kill. Roger Moore was the longest-serving Bond actor, with a total of twelve years in the role.
Timothy Dalton – The following two Bond films starred Timothy Dalton: The Living Daylights and License to Kill. His Bond was more like Fleming’s character in the novels, who was a reluctant agent. Dalton, on the other hand, took a more serious and gritty approach.

Daniel Craig – Daniel Craig is the most recent Bond actor. His take on the fictional character is more dangerous, flawed, emotionally wounded, and egotistical than the original.
