T-Pain’s inventive auto-tune has efficiently put him on the map within the music business. Nonetheless, a previous dialog with R&B singer Usher left the Florida native depressed for 4 years.
In an interview with, This Is Pop Present, T-Ache shared particulars of a dialog with Usher in 2013 that affected him for years after.
“He was like, ‘I need to let you know one thing, man’ He sounded actual involved,” the “Purchase You A Drank Rapper” stated. “He was like, ‘Man. You kinda f***ed up music.”

T-Ache continued saying that he was a bit puzzled as to what Usher meant and, at first, took it as a joke earlier than he understood that his feedback have been severe. The Grammy award-winning artist and producer defined that Usher believed that he ruined music for what he stated have been “actual singers.”
“He was like, ‘Yeah man you actually f***ed up music for actual singers…Look what you are doing.’ I used to be like, ‘What did I do? I got here out and I used Auto-Tune,’” T-Ache stated.
Following the dialog, he revealed that he started to really feel discouraged about his goal within the music business. Admitting, “That’s the very second, and I do not even assume I spotted this for a very long time, however that is the very second that began a four-year melancholy for me.”
