Three beers from Pennsylvania’s Troegs, some new to the market, some new to Drinkhacker. Let’s style.

Troegs LolliHop  – A newly launched double IPA dry hopped with Mosaic, Citra, and Azacca hops. Daring and juicy, it is a large and barely hazy brew that pours on the fruit and the forest flooring notes. They exist right here in equal proportions, the beer’s chewy physique (courtesy of a little bit of wheat and a few oats) complementing the highly effective taste profile. Gently creamy with a seductive end that hints at toasty caramel notes. Fantastically made. 8.2% abv. A / $15 per four-pack of 16 oz cans [BUY IT NOW FROM DRIZLY]

Troegs Area Examine IPA – It is a dry-hopped IPA made with Citra, Mosaic, and El Dorado varieties, pretty clear in shade and pretty conventional in its west coast-style construction. Boldly piney however with reasonable fruit, its notes of citrus, heavy on the lemon, are muted by a big bitterness and a ruddy, earthy character that endures effectively into the end. Nothing wildly sudden right here, however at this abv it’s an approachable neo-session providing. 6.2% abv. B+ / $12 per six pack [BUY IT NOW FROM DRIZLY]

Troegs Troegenator Doublebock – Surprisingly fizzy for this model, the beer provides intense notes of caramel, fig jam, spiced fruits, and loads of gooey, syrupy molasses to scrub all of it down with. The sweetness is a bit a lot from the beginning, and although the heavy carbonation makes an attempt to mood it, the sugar rush is plain. It discovered this much less approachable the extra I drank of it, ready for some late-breaking nuance to look. By no means did. 8.2% abv. B- / $12 per six pack [BUY IT NOW FROM DRIZLY]
