It’s a vigorous and instantly approachable wine, with only a contact of frizzante on the tip of the tongue. Shiny cherry notes up entrance are tempered by parts of mint, ginger, after which a sprinkle of turned earth, that frivolously fizzy word giving the wine a cleaning, crisp high quality. Not like every other sangiovese you’ve encountered, I’ll wager.
