Drinks large Pernod Ricard has launched a podcast spotlighting the partnerships of its Irish Distillers arm, hosted by radio producer Julien Clancy.
The four-part miniseries, known as A Excellent Mix, focuses on the advantages of collaborating by bringing tales of whiskey craft to life.
Produced and hosted by radio producer Julien Clancy, the podcast will embrace commentary from a number of the whiskey business’s influential voices.

A Excellent Mix collection kicks off with Irish Distillers cooper, Killian O’Mahony, and president of Kentucky-based Kelvin Cooperage, Paul McLaughlin, discussing their enthusiasm for age-old craft coopering.
The second episode arms the microphone to Richard Forsyth, the managing director of distillery design and construct agency Forsyths. He converses with Irish Distillers’ Katherine Condon on the invention of their whiskey-based abilities and their relationship with an ideal copper pot nonetheless.
The penultimate episode includes forestry advisor and Professional Silva Eire co-founder Paddy Purser. Together with Finbarr Curran, who sources Irish Distillers’ barrels, the 2 discover cask sustainability.
