The Union Health Ministry has released the bulletin and it shows a minor dip in the Covid numbers both in terms of new infections and deaths. On Monday, May 3, India registered 3,68,147 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours. The update says that 3,417 individuals died due to the Covid complications.
The Punjab government has announced new rules regarding the Covid pandemic. According to news agency ANI, the latest order states that anybody without negative Covid report or vaccine certificate won’t be allowed an entry in Punjab. The latest rule is applicable for all travellers – be it by rail, air or road. In addition to this, the state govt has also announced that all shops barring those selling the essential items will remain closed till May 15.
