Britney Spears’ Attorney Blasts Jamie’s “Shameful Attempt” to Redeem Himself in Conservatorship Case

Britney Spears‘ lawyer is firing again at her father Jamie Spears‘ newest courtroom submitting. 

In paperwork filed on Monday, Aug. 30 and obtained by E! Information, the pop star’s workforce submitted a supplemental petition to remove Jamie as conservator of her estate, a job he has held since 2008. In response to the paperwork, Britney’s workforce claims that Jamie’s submitting from Aug. 12 included a request for roughly $2 million to step again, which, in keeping with the singer’s workforce, contains “attorneys’ charges he has incurred” and “a considerable cost from Ms. Spears’ Property to sure third events, together with Tri-Star Sports activities & Leisure Group.”

The doc from Britney’s legal professionals referred to Jamie’s Aug. 12 response to their movement to take away him from the conservatorship as “a shameful try to redeem his popularity, at his daughter’s expense. The problem, nonetheless, will not be about Mr. Spears, his wants or his picture.”

In a press release, the singer’s attorney Mathew Rosengart pushed Jamie to step down instantly and referred to his exit as “inexorable.” Mathew wrote, “Britney Spears is not going to be bullied or extorted by her father. Nor does Mr. Spears have the appropriate to attempt to maintain his daughter hostage by setting the phrases of his removing.”
