Borat 2 gets a semi-sequel comprised of outtakes and alternate scenes

Jagshemash! Amazon Prime Video announced today that BORAT SUBSEQUENT MOVIEFILM is getting a semi-sequel update. Made up of outtakes and alternate scenes, the upcoming multi-part special is titled Borat Supplemental Reportings Retrieved From Floor of Stable Containing Editing Machine.

On the heels of the massive success of Borat Subsequent Moviefilm, Amazon Prime Video will be releasing Borat Supplemental Reportings Retrieved From Floor of Stable Containing Editing Machine, a multipart special featuring never-before-seen footage from Borat Subsequent Moviefilm – which is nominated for two Academy Awards including Best Adapted Screenplay and Best Supporting Actress (Maria Bakalova). The specials feature never-before-seen footage from Sacha Baron Cohen as Borat and reveal some of the danger and high wire acts that went into the creation of Borat Subsequent Moviefilm. The specials include new footage from Borat’s lockdown house with Jim and Jerry, the housemates with whom Baron Cohen (as Borat) lived for several days in the peak of the pandemic.

Other scenes included in the new presentation involve Borat’s daughter, Tutar (Bakalova) visiting a make-up salon and requesting to look like R. Kelly as well as an extended conversation between Borat and Tutar’s adult babysitter Jeanise Jones. Another scene includes Tutar posing as a political journalist as she interviews a couple over Zoom.

Oh Borat, will you ever cease to stick it to those who try to pull the wool over our eyes? I certainly hope not. You’re like a mischievous gremlin who thrives on exposing the lies of the rich and powerful and I am here for it. Give us more of that Borat madness. We love to see it.
