Leaked Instagram tales, viral tweets, and a solo sting operation are just some of the weather at play within the ongoing U.Ok. libel case between Coleen Rooney and Rebekah Vardy, the wives of two distinguished British soccer stars.
On Could 10, the so-called Wagatha Christie case formally went to trial in London’s Excessive Courtroom, almost two years after Rebekah, 40, first sued Coleen, 36, for defamation again in June 2020.
In a witness assertion on Could 13, Coleen mentioned that she was “glad to have put an finish” to Rebekah leaking others’ non-public info to the press after she caught the guy soccer spouse “betraying” her “red-handed” in a self-described “sting operation.”
If you have not been following the trial up till this level, we have you coated. All of it kicked off in October 2019, when Coleen—who’s the spouse of former soccer participant and Derby County F.C. supervisor Wayne Rooney—accused Rebekah, who’s married to Leicester Metropolis athlete Jamie Vardy, of leaking false stories about her to the British tabloid The Solar in a now-viral tweet.
