  • 3 cloves garlic, minced (about 2 1/2 teaspoons)
  • 3/4 cup olive oil, divided
  • 1/3 cup contemporary grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3 cups finely diced Roma tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup chopped contemporary basil
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons kosher salt, divided
  • 2 teaspoons contemporary black pepper, divided
  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed purple pepper flakes
  • 1 baguette reduce into 1/2 inch slices
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

Directions

  1. Make Bruschetta: In a medium bowl mix minced garlic, 1/2 cup olive oil, Parmesan cheese, diced tomatoes, chopped basil, vinegar, 1 teaspoon kosher salt, 1 teaspoon black pepper, and purple pepper flakes. Stir to mix evenly, cowl and refrigerate for a minimum of half-hour. 
  2. Prep the toasts: Preheat oven to 425°F. Line a big baking sheet with parchment paper and put aside. 
  3. Slice the baguette into 1/2- inch items.
  4. In a small bowl whisk collectively the remaining 1/4 cup olive oil, 1 teaspoon kosher salt, 1 teaspoon black pepper, and garlic powder.
