Nick Offerman and Lagavulin have created a second whisky collectively

The one malt is the second expression to be launched as a part of the Diageo-owned model’s ongoing partnership with Offerman, which started in 2014.

The brand new Lagavulin Offerman Version: Guinness Cask End follows the launch of Lagavulin Offerman Edition Aged 11 Years in October 2019.

The brand new limited-edition 11-year-old was aged for 4 months in former Guinness beer casks from Eire’s Open Gate Brewery, which can be owned by Diageo.

The expression has notes of ‘intense peat and charred wooden’ together with hints of roasted espresso, darkish chocolate and caramel from the Guinness casks.

The one malt has been launched forward of World Whisky Day on 15 Could and Father’s Day (20 June).

To have a good time its launch, Offerman has unveiled the fifth instalment in his Lavagulin: My Tales of Whisky video sequence.

Titled ‘Nick Offerman’s Father’s Day Half 5’, the brand new video stars Offerman and his father Ric, and playfully highlights how the whisky was created earlier than concluding with the duo having fun with a dram in a pub.

“The chance to collaborate on this really elegant, smoky giggle-juice renews my gratitude for the straightforward issues in life, like a father’s love, and the nice manners he taught me,” stated Offerman.

Lagavulin Offerman Version: Guinness Cask End is offered within the US, priced at RRP US$79.99. It may be bought from Reserve Bar and Drizly.
