Diageo has named Australian bartender Tim Philips-Johansson as international model ambassador for blended Scotch whisky Johnnie Walker.
Within the new position, Philips-Johansson will assist form the way forward for the model’s experiences, and educate shoppers on tips on how to drink Johnnie Walker.
Philips-Johansson mentioned: “It’s a whisky I’ve at all times had an affinity for – constructed on 200 years of progressive pondering and with unbelievable ambitions for the long run just like the lately introduced Johnnie Walker Next Steps initiative, upcoming opening of the brand new model house, Johnnie Walker Princes Street, and way more.

Initially from Melbourne, Philips-Johansson has greater than 20 years of expertise within the international drinks trade. He stormed to success within the international finals of the Diageo World Class cocktail competitors in 2012 to take the highest spot.
Philips-Johansson can also be the founding father of award-winning cocktail bar Bulletin Place in Sydney, and Useless Ringer restaurant in Surry Hills.

Diageo mentioned the bartender brings ‘a pure inventive flare, curious nature and wealth of information’ to the place.
