Speyside single malt model Glen Moray has launched its unique Personal Cask Assortment, launching with a 13-year-old Marsala cask-finished whisky.

Glen Moray’s Personal Cask Assortment is a collection of the Speyside distillery’s aged single malt whiskies.
The unique collection is launching with a 13-year-old expression, completed in Marsala casks from Sicily.
The US will see the primary launch adopted by a 10-year-old whisky, completed in Pauillac Grand Cru pink wine casks from Bordeaux. In the meantime, China will obtain a follow-up launch of a 26-year-old Madeira cask-finished expression.
The whiskies from the Personal Cask Assortment have been individually chosen to every current ‘excellent depth and character’.

Distilled in 2007, the whisky has notes of toffee and chocolate on the nostril, with a rounded and fruity palate. The end has been described as containing hints of candy creamy berries, with a lingering mild spice.
Simply 238 bottles of the primary launch of Glen Moray’s Personal Cask Assortment can be found, at 56.6% ABV a bottle.
Final 12 months, Glen Moray launched a Scotch whisky matured in Sauternes wine casks as the primary expression in its new Warehouse 1 Assortment.
