Add 2 cups frozen cranberries, 1 cup dry white wine, 1/2 cup water, 1 packed tablespoon of the brown sugar, 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar, the remaining 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt, 1/4 teaspoon pink pepper flakes, and 1 giant contemporary basil sprig.
