UK-based Cambridge Distillery has launched a brand new gin that mixes Japanese botanicals, truffle and ants.

The brand new expression is a mixture of three Cambridge Distillery gins

Three Seasons Gin is a mix of three expressions from Cambridge Distillery: Japanese Gin, Truffle Gin and Anty Gin.

The distillery’s Japanese Gin is made with yuzu peel, shiso leaf, toasted white sesame, and shanso pepper spice. Truffle Gin was created with white truffle from Alba in Piedmont, Italy.

Anty Gin is the ‘world’s first’ gin distilled from bugs, containing roughly 62 pink wooden ants.

William Lowe, grasp distiller, mentioned: “Three Seasons permits the drinker to expertise our distinctive pure environment, wherever they might be. We’ve got distilled the archetypal botanical essence of every season from the environment and frozen it in time.”

The brand new Three Seasons Gin has been particularly created to be the important thing ingredient in a Martini.

Lowe added: “My inspiration for Three Seasons is finally the Martini – my favorite cocktail. The Martini leaves a gin with nowhere to cover with three easy, but advanced elements.

“The Martini that you’ll create with Three Seasons might be like nothing you’ve tasted earlier than.”

Launching right now (1 June), the brand new expression is alleged to supply notes of ‘aromatic spring lemon verbena’, ‘summer season rose’ and ‘blackcurrant leaf’.

On the nostril, the gin is alleged to offer aromas of electrical citrus and lemon, with rounded palate infused with ‘English roses’ and a ’rounded, beneficiant’ end.

The 45% ABV spirit might be obtainable for RRP £90 (US$127) per 700ml bottle.
