Bank Holidays July 2021: Banks to remain shut for up to 15 days this month; check full list here

On July 21, banks in many of the states will observe a vacation on account of Bakri Id.

Financial institution Holidays in July 2021: Banks in India will stay closed for as much as 15 days in July 2021, together with second and fourth Saturdays, and Sundays. Other than six weekly offs, banks will stay shut in several states on account of various holidays. Banks is not going to be closed for all 9 days for all states as these are state-specific holidays for various events. On July 21, banks in many of the states will observe a vacation on account of Bakri Id. Solely the gazetted holidays are noticed by banks everywhere in the nation. The Reserve Financial institution of India has categorised holidays beneath three classes — Vacation beneath Negotiable Devices Act; Vacation beneath Negotiable Devices Act and Actual-Time Gross Settlement Vacation; and Banks’ Closing of Accounts. Banks throughout Bhubaneswar and Imphal will stay closed on July 12, on account of Kang (Rathajatra)/Ratha Yatra. On July 13-14, 2021, solely banks in Gangtok will stay shut to watch Bhanu Jayanti and Drukpa Tshechi, respectively. On July 16, banks in Dehradun can be closed on account of the Harela competition. Banks in Agartala and Shillong will observe a vacation on July 17 due to U Tirot Sing Day/Kharchi Puja. Solely banks in Gangtok will stay closed on July 19 on account of Guru Rimpoche’s Thungkar Tshechu. On July 20, 2021, banks in Jammu, Srinagar, Kochi and Thiruvananthapuram will observe a vacation. On account of Id-Ul-Zuha, banks in many of the states throughout the nation will stay shut on July 21, besides in Aizawl, Bhubaneswar, Gangtok, Kochi and Thiruvananthapuram.
