Assam Assembly election results 2021, List of Winners: The BJP-led NDA looks set to retain the state with comfortable majority. The NDA is currently leading in 76 of 126 seats, while the Grand Alliance led by Congress is ahead in 49. Counting of votes is still underway. Several exit polls have predicted that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led NDA is returning back to power. To form a government, a party or alliance needs to win 64 seats.
