Princess Diana‘s humanitarian work will get The Crown remedy.
In a brand new picture from season six of the Netflix drama, Elizabeth Debicki, who plays the royal, is seen recreating the late Princess of Wales‘ final official journey, a three-day go to to Bosnia in August 1997.
Throughout her time there, Diana visited with locals who had been injured by landmines, which had been used throughout the nation’s civil struggle within the ’90s. Later that very same month, Diana and boyfriend Dodi al Fayed died in a tragic automotive crash in Paris.
The replace from The Crown set comes almost per week after production paused following the death of Queen Elizabeth II on Sept. 8. In an announcement to E! Information, Netflix confirmed that manufacturing had been halted “as a mark of respect,” including, “Filming will even be suspended on the day of Her Majesty The Queen’s funeral.”
